Palazzo Artemide is a unique combination of elegance and historicity. The 40-room hotel, in the heart of Ortigia, presents itself as a retreat immersed in the rich history of the island. The term "Palazzo" underlines the majesty and architectural charm of the building, while "Artemis" adds a touch of classical culture, wisdom and refinement, effectively paying homage to the Ionic temple (Temple of Artemis, protectress of Syracuse), adjacent to the square on which our hotel stands. Recently renovated, the hotel has enhanced its strong Sicilian character, with the same limestone used for Greek temples and Baroque palaces, the traditional 'secret' courtyards inherited from Arab architecture, the small roof garden, the balconies present in all the rooms and the beautiful tuff dammuso vaults of the restaurant.
