Have you ever taken the Winair rollercoaster plane ride from St. Maarten to St. Barths? I'd always heard about this wild ride but totally forgot what I was in for. What a hilarious and fun way to kick off an island adventure! And don't worry, Tradewinds offers a smoother ride for less adventurous fliers. Upon safely landing, the Gyp Sea team was eagerly awaiting our group's arrival with transfers ready at the airport.
After a quick 10-minute drive, we arrived to Gyp Sea Hotel atop the hills of Colombier. Formally Villa Marie St. Barths, the hotel rebranded to Gyp Sea last year to be synonymous with the new beach houses and popular beach club. The hotel bursts with natural woodwork, mixed linens, and eclectic furniture that perfectly match the boho vibe. Every detail has been lovingly hand-selected by Madame Sibuet and family, owners of the property. The property offers 22 unique bungalows and a two-bedroom villa at the height of the property. We all checked in with help from Félix, the cat, and headed to our individual bungalows. Mine was a stunning jacuzzi suite with gorgeous interiors and breathtaking views of St. Barths. Joie de vivre!

Our adventure started with a blissful pampering session at the Gyp Sea Spa. The treatments were just what we needed to feel refreshed and rejuvenated.
Next, we lounged by the stunning pool with cocktails in hand, soaking up the sun and the laid-back atmosphere. Speaking of, the food and drinks were out of this world! From delicious breakfast spreads to decadent dinners, every meal was super fresh and paired nicely with wines from their vineyards in Provence. We were even treated to a beach picnic! Bon appétit!
Gyp Sea Beach Club was la crème de la crème. I loved the boho chic decor and the lively ambiance. Whether sunbathing with a homemade popsicle or sea bobbing and chasing marine life, we had such a fun time in the sun. Hotel guests never have to worry about a seat as the beach club has a section reserved especially for them. You just need to make a reservation for your complimentary day bed.
No FAM trip is complete without some sort of shopping spree, especially in St. Barths! There are cute boutiques all around the island, but we made our way to Gustavia for our fashion finds. It's très magnifique for luxury gifts.
One evening, we set sail on a sunset cruise around the island. The boat gently glided over the waters while we danced and drank champagne. Such a treat to see the sky transform from blue to streaks of pink and orange. C'est la vie!
